The terroir of Les Naugues produces a concentrated and powerful wine, able to age over many years. South-facing and planted on a subsoil of limestone marl, the hillside plot ripens fairly early. This wine has a black fruit and spicy character with beautiful volume, silky tannins and a peppery finish. It is a subtle combination of power, length and finesse.

Wood aging on this rich wine has given a smooth, lightly spicy texture. That combines with the rounded black fruits to produce a wine that is dense, silky and likely to age well. Drink from 2022.

Ripe and dense, this fruit and wood-flavored wine is bold and rich. The black fruits and tannins will allow the wine to mature. A concentrated, limited-production wine, it will take a while to mature. Wait until 2023.
